Sébastien Dauvissat’s grandfather was cousin of Robert Dauvissat, father of René and of Andrée, who married François Raveneau. Indeed, the cellar of this domaine is next to Raveneau on the Route de Chichée. Domaine bottling began commercially in the late 1970s and has developed since in Sébastien’s hands, after his father’s early death. The crus are bottled after two years, the second of which may include some maturation in old barrels.
