Michel Laroche (born 1946) was not ready to retire when he sold his Domaine Laroche business. With various members of his family, notably daughters Cécile and Margaux, he has launched this new enterprise, named for his father and focussing on long term family vineyards, mostly in Fourchaume. The label bears the subtitle Michel Laroche & Ses Enfants.

The two top cuvées are l’Homme Mort (planted 1970) and Fourchaume Heritage (planted 1937), both of which have a barrel component. The wines are made with indigenous yeasts and the 1ers crus are mostly harvested by hand.
