Lofty in both reputation and altitude, the premier cru of Les Cazetiers is referenced by many commentators as being one of the finest, if not the finest in Gevrey, and planted at up to 370m it’s also one of the highest in all of Burgundy.
One such ardent fan, Burgundy expert Jasper Morris MW, interviews Karine Sérafin of Domaine Sérafin – one of the appellation’s top estates – to discover what elevates the vineyard above many of its peers.
Underlining his message, Morris presents a tasting of exquisite Les Cazetiers offerings, featuring the likes of Bruno Clair, Armand Rousseau and Sérafin itself, all available as a tasting kit to accompany this snapshot of prime Burgundy terroir.
