The Mothe family run this 50-hectare domaine based in Fontenay-près-Chablis. The bulk of their production is straight Chablis from around Fontenay and Chichée, with small quantities of premiers crus Vaucoupin and Fourchaume and some grand cru Bougros. The wines are all fermented and matured in tank, with the exception of a barrel component for the Bougros. This is a very good source for regular Chablis, balanced between the flesh of Fontenay and the cool classicism of Chichée.
