Another branch of the family, separate from Daniel above. Three brothers, Eric, Hervé and Emmanuel, have put together a thriving domaine based in Collan, on the plateau east of Chablis, of 135 hectares combining vines in Bourgogne-Tonnerre and Chablis. There are several cuvées of the former, notably one named after the intriguing Chevalier d’Eon, a cross-dressing aristocrat from the late 18th century. On the Chablis side there is a large holding of a single vineyard called Bréchain, below Montée de Tonnerre, facing grand cru Blanchots. There are also holdings of premiers crus Fourchaumes and Fourneaux, and grand cru Les Preuses, which are vinified using a quarter- to one-third barrel and the remainder in tank.
