Alain Michelot and his daughter Elodie have a wide range of premier cru Nuits-St-Georges vineyards to offer: Les Cailles, Chaignots, Champs Perdrix, Forêts St-Georges, La Richemone, Les St-Georges and Vaucrains. There are also both village and premier cru vines in Morey-St-Denis. The wines are destemmed, vinified after a short cool pre- fermentation maceration, then left in barrel for 20 months without racking. About 30 per cent new wood is used, from three different coopers.
